Reserving resources in HUMlab

Resources in HUMlab can be reserved by sending an email to bokning@humlab.umu.se. Specify which part of the lab you would like to reserve along with the purpose and time of the reservation. All reservation requests will be reviewed manually and we reserve the right deny reservations.

Bokningspolicy

HUMlab is open for all registered users 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A lot of different activities have to be able to co-exist in the lab. If there is unused equipment in the lab despite a reservation, anyone is welcome to use this equipment as long as appropriate respect for the ongoing activities is shown.

HUMlab generally gives priority to activities other than web surfing and word processing, however both of the above may be conducted in the lab in terms of room. Special priority is given to projects involving the humanities and information technology.

Renting HUMlab

It's possible to rent HUMlab for lectures, presentations, workshops, etc. However it is not possible to rent or reserve HUMlab for the purpose of having students work independently in the lab.

If you have reserved a part of HUMlab and someone is currently using that part of the lab, you are within your rights to ask them to move. However if someone is occupying a part of the lab you have reserved, but not using any equipment you requre, they should be allowed to continue their work, providing they do not disturb other activities.
