Since 2002, HUMlab is hosting a series of seminars revolving around information technology and the humanities. Many of the speakers are internationally well known names e.g. Katherine Hayles, Mark Stephen Meadows, Brenda Laurel, Henry Jenkins and Jane McGonigal.

Through the HUMlab seminars, HUMlab is offering an opportunity to discuss research related problems, technical solutions and ideas of a diverse set of disciplines in a prestigeless way. The seminars are often a joint venture between HUMlab and other institutions and organisations.
